Donuts are the worst

Excellent baked goods! Donuts cookies cakes all reasonably priced and delicious! Defin iui tely recommend!

My husband ordered a cake on Friday. It was for my birthday. Honestly, the cake was too dry to eat. Thank goodness we had ice cream. This is not the first time this had happened but it was the driest of all. It seems to happen if you don’t order a special cake. I have been told they freeze cakes and thaw it out on Friday or Saturday and then frost it. Now, we have been a customer for over forty years. They have delicious baked goods but they have to stop doing this. Birthdays are special to everyone. So very disappointed. Be sure to ask about this practice when you order.

Amazing selection!!

Bought a cake for my brothers birthday. Thought it would be delicious coming from a bakery and costing more but it was the worst cake we have ever bought. It was very dry. Icing was not the best either. Someone just told me that they use frozen cakes so they are not fresh. Do yourself a favor and go a few blokes to shop n save. Don’t waste your money. I never leave reviews but we were very disappointed in the quality from a bakery

I paid $20 to get a white cake iced and for it to say Happy Birthday and the little cheap icing decorations around the bottom like every bakery in the world does and this is what they gave me. Plain 8inch white iced plain cake no extra icing or anything .. I am astounded with the lack of care ind cheapness of their product..go to bethel bakery instead their expensive but relays you get a good product

I've only purchased donuts from Krency's but they are very good, handmade treats. They have many other bakery items for sale that look equally tasty.The selection gets a little thin by mid-morning, so make sure you get there early for the best choices. Parking is also a little tight right in front of the shop...I recommend parking under the Interstate right next door.

We have been buying at Krencys since 1957 until recently, less expensive products are being used which takes away the good flavor that used to be a part of Krencys products.We no longer buy your products!

This morning september 26, 2019 at 6am I came in as I have before to get some donuts for my coworkers on a construction site. The girl who waited on me was very rude. I didnt get her name. She was a heavy set girl. Maybe younger but non the less rude. Her attitude was poor from the time I walked in the door. She was very unprofessional. When I said I was leaving she replied, " Go Ahead Leave." So of course I left and will never return. I have also told many people of my experience there and will continue to do so. Its unfortunate.

I called about ordering a cake,because my family has been dealing with Krencys for 30 or more years,the girl on the phone was so RUDE you could tell she didn't like her job.No goodby,she literally hung up on me😈.My sister got a cake a while back and she said the cake was so dry,they could not eat it I thought well I will give them another chance, won't b back

Best Donuts on the planet! I live in NC now and I make a trip to Krency's every time I am back in town visiting family. No one does it better!

They did an amazing job at our wedding! They listened to everything that we wanted and more. We are so happy that we chose Krencys as our bakery for our wedding!

This place is incredible. The owner and staff are extremely nice, their product is delicious, and they seem to be genuinely good people. I'd highly recommend them. The beat out Bethel for us, without question. That should say something.

Raisin cookies are the best

So I stopped in to order a birthday cake for my son. I opened the door and neither the employee behind the counter or the customer standimg there had a mask on. Not even a mask around her neck. NO mask period. I will make my son a cake.

I live in Virginia I drive up to see my mom who is in a home when I can. Everytime I come up have to stop at Krency's for Raisin filled cookies to take to my mom...love everything there.

My mother used to buy my birthday cake from Krency's for nearly 15 years. I moved from WaPA, lived in New York for many years and have enjoyed pasteries, cakes and cupcakes from some of the best bakeries in NYC. Krency's cakes should be ranked amoung some of the best in the country. Thanks for confirming what I knew as a kid, your cakes are amazing.

I made a special trip to Krency's for cookies to put on a cookie tray. The person behind the counter was so aloof and rude . No welcome or hello, only stared at me when I entered the bakery and looked at the selections. I asked about pecan tassies . The reply was "an abrupt we don't make those here " Never directed me to the other nut choices they had, I had to discover them myself. But when I asked about the price per dozen , I was told $13.80 per dozen. I thought this bakery had a good reputation and delicious product. but no product is worth this price. I will not make a special trip again. especially to be treated so rudely. Customer service was a shock.

Just picked up an apple pie. Way overpriced, 90% sauce and 10% apples. I have had much better pies at less than half the price. They should be run out of town. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this once good bakery.

Usually I give Krencys 5 stars, their donuts are delicious, their cookies are delicious, but this time I bought a half and half cake for a party. The icing was fantastic, but this time the 3 stars was for a dry cake. A little disappointing, me and my friends thought it was ok, but it wasn't great this time. I'm hoping this was a one time experience.
